with Suzie Schomaker Nov 19-21, 2009
SEDONA, AZ (November 12, 2009) - Studio Live Sedona presents a
group of shows featuring some of our great
local talents. The Sedona
Performers Guild (SPG) Theme Night, power
trio 3rd Point and Blues Dawg with special
guest Suzie Schomaker will all take the
stage for out-of-this-world performances.
On Thursday, November 19th, Studio Live
presents the next installment in a series of
Sedona Performer’s Guild Theme Nights. This
week’s show is a tribute to the music of two
prolific songwriters of the 1970’s: James
Taylor and Joni Mitchell. The SPG Theme
Nights are generously produced by Rick Cyge
of Meadowlark and feature performances from
many Guild members. A memorable experience
is certain, as a variety of artists from
diverse musical backgrounds perform their
chosen favorites from these two artists.
Performers include: Rick Cyge, Susannah
Martin, Bob Murnahan, Chris Seymour, Nathan
Trujillo, Saith, Jeannie Carroll, Joy
Sinnott, JJ Corcoran, and Henry Twombly.
Tickets are a $5 suggested donation to
support the Sedona Performers Guild. Seating
will be available on a first come, first
serve basis at the door. No advance
reservations will be taken for this
performance, which begins at 7:30pm.

Friday Nov 20th, 3rd Point is back in the

featuring the whamola. Comparisons have
been made to King Crimson, Jimi Hendrix, and
John Coltrane. They’re like no other band
in the area! 3rd Point are Gary Bettum on
guitar, Bob Wachunas on bass, fretless bass
and whamola and Bill Juharos on Drums. The
show starts at 7:30 and tickets are $15.
Saturday, November 21st will bring Blues Dawg featuring Suzie Schomaker to the stage
in a special benefit concert for the SPG.
Blues Dawg showcases contemporary blues
steeped in the traditions of early American
blues and roots music. The band performs
originals and covers, all greatly influenced
by the masters of Chicago, Memphis, Texas
and California. With Joe Neri, the band’s
founder and originator, on guitar and
vocals, Keys Marsh on keyboards, Hutch
Hutchinson on bass, and Ed Tortorello on
drums, they are sure to rock the house.
Show starts at 7:30. Tickets are $15 in
advance or $20 at the door.
